Hey all!  This week has been very productive!  Along with the great shows so far with great audiences, I have put the finishing touches on TWO songs for my upcoming album project this year.  I feel really good about these two songs and maybe the ablum title will come from one of them.  Today I get my merchandise in and I am looking forward to getting some of that distributed to the people that I meet so that my music gets to some other parts of the US and the world.  That's the great thing about this place is that people are from everywhere and I can cover wayyyyy more ground with my music without having to go to these places. Really looking forward to getting back down to Key West tomorrow!! So I have to admit this blog thing is pretty intense to keep up with and try to write down all of the things going on.  I am going to make it an absolute priority to get this thing done at least a few times a week to update my friends and fans on what is going on with my music. I'm really looking forward to playing the New Beginnings Benefit Show back home with some of my good friends.  It is for a great cause and will be a great show to be at for all of my friends.  I will be performing …

I'm really excited about going back to Key West and seeing all of my friend and fans that I have made there.  The people at Cowboy Bills Honky Tonk Saloon have been unbelievably great to me.  Also going on down there will be the Songwriters Festival which is always a great time!  All the great songwriters from Nashville will be down there along with some of the great performer/songwriters in the biz today!!!  I will be there for a month so I am sure I will have plenty of time to do all the catching up I want with everybody.  Really excited about this year!!!!!!

It's a new year and I have definitely enjoyed the downtime for the holidays to get recharged and refocused for this new year!  This year has already started off great with new songs in my catalog and a new direction.  I will be staying in town more for more showcase opportunities and just to play locally in general as much as possible.  Of course I am planning on being in Key West at different times throughout the year also to perform for all my new friends and fans that I made last year.  One time of which I am really looking forward to is the songwriters festival that is held there every year at the end of April and beginning of May.  I am just looking forward to a new year of opportunites and I hope to see everybody soon!!!

This morning I am heading to catch my flight to Austin, Texas.  I am looking forward to checking the town out for the next 4 days especially the music venues!! I will update my blog with pictures and updates with how it is going through out the weekend.  Hopefully some doors will open there and I get to blog about going there to play in the near future!!  This weekend I am hitting it by myself with my guitar on my back and let's just see what happens!!!!  I love my life!!!!

I am getting everything ready for the show that I will be doing in my hometown of Berea, Ky.  I am really looking forward to the Berea Spoonbread Festival cause it will be the first time for most of my friends and family to see me perform my original songs with my Nashville band.  Along with that it will just be great to see a lot of faces that I haven't seen in years in general.  For all of you that don't know, it is Friday September 17th at 7:30 pm  in Berea and it should be a great time.  Really looking forward to playing!!!!
